March 27, 2009, China Green Forum "Large-scale Energy Storage System" was held in the Tsinghua Science Park Club. Prudent Energy Inc. sponsored the event with CIUR(China Industry-University-Research Institution Collaboration Association) and CRES (China Renewable Energy Society).

At this forum, Shi Ding-huan, counselor of State Department, executive vice president of CIUR, Director of CRES; Yang Yu-sheng , researcher of Anti-chemical Academe, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering; Tim Hennessy, president of Prudent Energy discussed the technical progress and industrialization of the vanadium redox flow battery (VRB). Mr Shi said it should establish the vanadium battery demonstration projects as soon as possible in China.
